La Bien Aimée is so thrilled to release not one, but two brand new Miyazaki inspired colorways! Chihiro & No Face and Calcifer.
Chihiro & No Face is a color we have been developing for a while and we are so delighted with the result! A dark navy blue with rainbow colored speckles makes it the absolute perfect color for super fun socks. This color is inspired by the movie Spirited Away, and particularly by No Face's fascination with Chihiro, especially when she becomes Sen. There are so many unique relationships in this movie, this probably won't be the only colorway inspired by this film.
Calcifer is Aimee's interpretation of this character from Howl's Moving Castle. A deep and bright mix of red and orange creates the color of fire. The pink represents the love that Calcifer has for his Howl and Sophie. 
We will be offering all five colors of the collection across the following bases: Twist Nouveau, Merino Super Sock, Merino Sport, Merino Singles, Merino Aran, Kumo and Big Merino.
