La Bien Aimée
Tuljak Colourwork Bundle
In this pattern, bright colorways like Fluoro Morganite, Seaglass and Sophie are held together with the muted tones of French Grey and Gaji to create a complex and developed color that is both striking and delicate.
These bundles only include the yarn for the colorwork on the body and cuffs of the sleeves.

The design of this sweater is inspired by the traditional costume skirts worn by Tuljak dancers as they twirl around in this fast-paced folk dance. In this pattern, the mesmerising motif is used to decorate the sweater's hem and cuffs.
This pattern, as well as the rest of Aleks Byrd's book, focuses on traditional Estonian techniques, and the way that they have been re-imagined in contemporary Estonian knitting. In Tuljak, she makes accessible two styles of knitted braids: Kihnu vits and the twisted braid.
Helix is a light and lofty yarn base, exclusively spun for La Bien Aimée. This non superwash, light fingering weight yarn combines high-quality Falkland Merino with the unique Gotland wool fiber. This light-grey fiber mixed with the bright white merino gives the Helix yarn an incredible sheen and depth of color not possible on our other yarn bases.
Felix is Helix's brighter and pluckier yarn sibling. With its mix of Falkland Merino and Corriedale, Felix picks up neons and bright colors with gusto. Looking for that pop of color in that Helix sweater? Look no further: Felix is the solution.
Please note that the pattern is not included in these yoke bundles. The pattern is available in the book Traditions Revisited.
