Play with color and optical effects with Lumen, a beautiful colorwork sock pattern by Emma Ducher, knit in our BFL Tough Sock.

Worked from the cuff down, Lumen features a captivating geometric motif in which colorful bands overlap against a solid background. As the motif gradually shifts around the sock, the colors appear to intensify where they cross, creating an illusion of transparency and a beautiful wave-like effect.

We have created three La Bien Aimée palettes for Lumen, each with its own personality:

Original Palette
Bright, joyful pinks, just as Emma envisioned them.
Main Color: Sansa
Contrast Colors: Sari & Fluoro Morganite

Aimée's Choice
Fresh and luminous, with a crisp white background and playful pops of pink and orange.
Main Color: Blanc
Contrast Colors: Millennial Pink & Kokko

Anne's Choice
A warm, earthy version with soft neutrals and rich caramel tones.
Main Color: Avoine
Contrast Colors: Caramel & Clay

Each bundle contains the La Bien Aimée BFL Tough Sock needed to knit your Lumen socks, including one 100g skein for the main color and 2 x 50g skeins for the contrast colors.
