These minis skeins are the perfect ones to knit your color work pattern and small accessories! With 163m of lace weight that you can held double or single it is the perfect yarn to add a sheen and colorful effect on your project.
Alix is a really special yarn. Custom milled for La Bien Aimée, Alix is a gorgeous mix of 70% Falkland Merino and 30% Suri Alpaca.
Like Helix and Felix, Alix is made to be knit either double with itself, or with other lace weight yarns, resulting in a sport weight gauge. It can also be a super soft substitute to either of these bases. It is soft and drapey, perfect to be worn next to the skin or around the neck in a lovely bandana for example...
Alix is also available in 100g full size skeins.
