This high quality yarn is made of 100% Merino, making it deliciously soft and wonderful to knit with. It keeps the speckles looking perfectly crisp and defined. Merino Bouclé will make even the simplest of patterns sing!
While technically a Fingering weight, this yarn knits up thick and airy. We recommend using 5mm needles and substituting it for a DK to Worsted weight. We are already planning to use it in a Lento sweater (Pattern by Jonna Hietala) instead of the Merino Singles. You can also stripe it with Corrie Worsted in a Piilo (pattern also by Jonna Hietala).
Our coup de coeur is holding Merino Bouclé together with some of our other bases: Kumo will give you the lightest and fluffiest fabric ever (6mm needles should offer the perfect gauge), Helix will add a slightly heathered look to your fabric, while Felix or Merino Singles will create a subtle marled texture.
