This past year has been such a unique one for all of us. The pandemic came down on us hard and fast just like it did for everyone in the world. In the midst of this storm, I had to completely restructure La Bien Aimée and rebuilt my team. It felt like an insurmountable task but I’m really proud of what my team and I have accomplished and contributed to the survival of La Bien Aimée.
In the midst of all this I was forced to shutter my cafe, L'OisiveThé which left me time to focus on the survival of La Bien Aimée. Today, my dye studio made it through thanks to your continue support and my amazing staff. Unfortunately our Little Yellow Shop did not fare as well. It is with a resolute heart that I am announcing the closing of the LBA brick & mortar shop. This decision was not made lightly and it took a very long time to convince myself that this needed to happen but I have finally gotten to a place in my mind and heart that it is okay to let go now. I will miss meeting all the knitters at the shop but I know that we will meet at virtual events as we have over the past year and I look forward to meeting in person again. I feel confident we will all meet again!
The name and brand La Bien Aimée will continue their presence online, at virtual events, and hopefully at in person events soon. The name La Bien Aimée will be removed from the shop front and all yarn & LBA yarn and branded items will now be sold *exclusively* through our online shop and our global retailers.
The timing of this post is bittersweet as it worked out to be right at our 6th anniversary but isn’t this typical of everything that has been happening since March 2020. It’s now time for me to pivot again...
The 6th birthday celebration *will* continue this week. I am face forward towards the future with the sun on my face and a smile under my mask. Thank you for your continued support. 💛

Annonce en Francais: C’est avec un immense regret que La Bien Aimée annonce la fermeture définitive de notre boutique jaune parisienne.
La pandémie du Covid 19 a occasionné d’énormes pertes au cours de la dernière année, il nous est devenu tout simplement impossible de garder la boutique ouverte.
Nous ne pourrons donc plus proposer de retraits en boutique. Toutes les commandes passées sur notre boutique en ligne attendant d’être retirées à la boutique physiques seront envoyées gratuitement dans les plus bref délais.
La laine La Bien Aimée continuera d’être vendue en ligne depuis notre site internet et sera également disponible via nos revendeurs. Avec la reprise progressive de l’activité normale de notre atelier de teinture, nous serons à l’avenir en mesure de produire plus pour nos revendeurs et pourrons ainsi distribuer notre laine à plus de boutiques. Nous nous réjouissons également de participer à l’avenir à de futurs festivals et événements en France ainsi qu’à l’étranger.
Un grand merci à toutes celles et tous ceux qui ont soutenu notre boutique jaune depuis six ans. Nous avons adoré vous y accueillir!
