LBA Imbue: our pattern recommendations

LBA Imbue: our pattern recommendations

I am delighted to announce that La Bien Aimée Imbue is now available as a dye-to-order! This collaboration is very special to me because I love this yarn.

Imbue is a worsted weight yarn spun by Brooklyn Tweed from soft American Merino wool. Its 5 ply construction makes it soft and smooth, it is perfect for all different types of knitting. It’s also a strong and durable yarn, entirely made in the US, which we then hand-dye here, at La Bien Aimée’s atelier in Paris.

Imbue's 5 plies offer perfect stitch definition for cables, lace, colorwork and textured stitches. This yarn is ideal for garments and accessories alike. We love this yarn.

Our staff picked a few patterns they would love to knit in Imbue. We have put together a Ravelry bundle containing a selection of patterns that would be perfect for Imbue. It contains garments including sweaters and cardigans, as well as accessories like shawls, hats and cowls. Here are a few of our staff favorites!
