Are you ready for a Bandana party?
Le Bandana is a fun little accessory recipe. This is my perfect easy accessory that I wear with all of my outfits. I always have a bandana in my backpack or in my travel bag, so I can just throw it on if I feel a chill on my neck while I’m riding my bicycle or if I’m on a plane. It’s a very French thing, to wear a small scarf. And now that I am officially French, je le fais aussi! I do it, too.
My Le Bandana pattern that released today is a basic bandana recipe. It is knit in a Sport weight, by holding two strands of Helix or Felix together or one strand of The Wandering Flock's Baby Paca (shown above in our exclusive colorway, Aimée's Peaches & Dreams). The pattern includes detailed instructions for achieving the desired shape, in either a single color version or a version with big stripes. But I encourage you to have fun and experiment! This pattern is perfect for dipping your toes into a little intarsia, or using up all your favorite leftovers…
We have dyed plenty of Helix and Felix, both in full skeins and mini skeins, so you can choose your favorite colors to make your own Le Bandana. We also have bundles available.
I am currently working on many more versions of Le Bandana, which I will release soon! There will be one basic intarsia recipe, a full-on crazy fun intarsia pattern, and my perfect faded bandana pattern. So stay tuned for more bandana patterns coming very soon!
