New pattern: Quartet by Miki Teragaki

New pattern: Quartet by Miki Teragaki

A brand new pattern by Miki Teragaki has just landed on Ravelry—and it’s a whimsical delight! Quartet is a sleeveless vest bursting with playful energy and Miki’s signature flair. Designed with frills upon frills and a joyful silhouette, this piece is pure “kawaii”—as our Japanese friends say. It’s fun, fanciful, and surprisingly wearable, whether you dress it up or toss it over your favorite tee.

Miki knit hers in La Bien Aimée Alix held double for the body in Ominaeshi, with frills in Felix and Soyeux in Hella, Coquelicot, and As If. Aimée’s version uses Alix in Anemone (2 skeins for the body), with Hella for the bottom frill, and Soyeux held double in Fluoro Morganite and Ominaeshi for the side accents. You’ll need one skein of each color, except for the main body color. The pattern is available now on Ravelry—go see why we’re so in love with Quartet!

Shop Miki's version:
Main body in Alix in Ominaeshi
Bottom hem in Felix and Soyeux in HELLA
Side frills in Soyeux in Coquelicot and "AS IF"

Shop my version:
Main body in Alix in Anemone
Bottom hem in Felix and Soyeux in HELLA
Side frills in Soyeux in Fluoro Morganite and Ominaeshi

Aimee wears a size 5, so we used 2 skeins of Alix in Anemone. For all the rest, one skein was enough for this size.
