This new cowl pattern features La Bien Aimée Kumo in Anemone and combines it with Andrea's handspun yarn and a background of fingering weight yarn to create a unique and eye-catching accessory.
The cowl is knit using a simple slipped stitch motif that creates a fun plaid fabric with endless possibilities for color combinations. And best of all, the floats are hidden inside!
To add even more texture and softness, Andrea incorporated her "fuzz of choice" - Kumo, our fluffy suri alpaca base! This yarn is lace weight but can be knit at a larger gauge thanks to its fluffiness.
The Rad Plaid Cowl is knit as a tube in the round, starting with a provisional cast on. It's then twisted once and grafted together using the Kitchener stitch.
