We have a very exciting pattern releasing this week. This is the first in a series of 3 patterns from Kate Oates using La Bien Aimée Corrie Worsted. Texture is a simple raglan sweater with a lovely textured stitch all over the body, raglan sleeve construction and a split hem in the back for the body and sleeves. Kate used the colorway Quartz Fumé.
I knit mine in La Bien Aimée Corrie Worsted, in the Yellow Brick Road colorway. I chose a size 6 and it fits me perfectly, with just the perfect amount of positive ease. I also decided to put the split hem in the front of the sweater, instead of in the back, and I think it looks super cute!
For me, this is what a perfect sweater feels like, I could wear it every day. Corrie Worsted is still my favorite sweater yarn. Just give me a good raglan sweater in Yellow Brick Road and I’m happy!
