Alix is a really special yarn. Custom milled for La Bien Aimée, Alix is a gorgeous mix of 70% Falkland Merino and 30% Suri Alpaca.
Like Helix and Felix, Alix is made to be knit either double with itself, or with other lace weight yarns, resulting in a sport weight gauge. It can also be a super soft substitute to either of these bases. It is soft and drapey, perfect to be worn next to the skin or around the neck in a lovely bandana for example. What's more, it's incredible yardage means you can get a sizable shawl out of just one skein, like in Noemie Jelly's Chèche Valse.

Fabriqué sur mesure pour La Bien Aimée, Alix est un magnifique mélange de 70% de mérinos Falkland et 30% d'alpaga Suri. Comme Helix et Felix, Alix est fait pour être tricoté soit en double avec lui-même, soit avec d'autres fils dentelle, ce qui donne l'équivalent d'un fil sport. Il peut aussi être un substitut très doux à l'une ou l'autre de ces bases.
