La Bien Aimée CORRIE WORSTED: our first Worsted base!
A beautiful mix of Falkland Corriedale and Gotland Wool, Corrie Worsted offers 230m (250 yds) for 100g. This worsted spun wool is plump and wooly and blooms beautifully when wet blocked, without growing at all. We are pretty sure we've developed the perfect sweater yarn and we hope that you will love it as much as we do!
The big sister to Helix and Felix, Corrie Worsted is a natural Non-Superwash yarn base that is spun specially for La Bien Aimée. A light grey base color, we have dyed 30 of our best-selling tonal colors on it, including a few new colorways such as Avoine and Bone, Payne's Grey, Mist, Moria, Olive Juice, and Belle Rose.
Corrie Worsted was featured in the Aviate pattern by Karel Chan for Amirisu Magazine Issue 25.

La Bien Aimée, Corrie Worsted est notre toute première base Worsted! Un fabuleux mélange de Corriedale et de laine Gotland, la Corrie Worsted offre 230m aux 100g. Elle est extrêmement douce et gonfle naturellement lorsqu'elle est trempée dans l'eau pour le blocage, sans grandir pour autant. Nous sommes à peu près sûrs d'avoir inventé la laine parfaite pour les pulls et nous espérons que vous l'aimerez autant que nous! La grande soeur de nos bases Helix et Felix, la Corrie Worsted est une laine naturelle, non-superwash filée exclusivement pour La Bien Aimée. Sur sa base gris clair, nous avons teint une trentaine de nos coloris les plus populaires, ainsi que quelques nouveautés comme Avoine et Bone, Payne's Grey, Mist, Olive Juice et Belle Rose. |
We were really lucky to have teamed up with three incredible Finnish designers for the release of Corrie Worsted: Veera Valimaki, Sari Nordlund and Jonna Hietala. They designed three very different sweaters: a loose fitting cardigan for Veera with simple cables, a delicate lace-yoked pullover for Sari, and a casual striped sweater for Jonna. These patterns are available on each designer's Ravelry page.
