Nougat est une joyeuse exploration de la texture, de la couleur et de la technique, née de mon amour pour l’intarsia et le marling. Ce modèle invite à jouer avec des mohairs vaporeux et à observer les couleurs dialoguer délicatement sur l’ouvrage.
Tricoté en tenant ensemble un fil de fingering et un fil de mohair tout au long du projet, Nougat donne naissance à une étoffe légère, douce et pleine de profondeur. Le motif en damier est réalisé grâce à une forme simple et accessible d’intarsia : on ne change qu’un seul fil — le mohair — tandis que l’autre reste constant. Ce geste crée de subtils contrastes et un rendu graphique tout en douceur, aussi agréable à tricoter qu’à porter.
