Join Jonna Helin for a hands-on workshop dedicated to photographing knitted pieces with intention, emotion, and authenticity. This practical class focuses on how to create beautiful, compelling images of your knits by paying attention to light, composition, and storytelling—without the need for complicated equipment.

Through examples, discussion, and guided practice, Jonna will share her approach to creating strong visual narratives around handmade work, whether for personal archives, social media, or publications. The workshop is open to everyone and does not require any technical photography background.

About the instructor:
Jonna Helin is the founder, CEO, and Creative Director of Laine Publishing, the internationally acclaimed knitting book and magazine publisher based in Finland. With over 25 years of experience in publishing, she brings a thoughtful, human-centered approach to photography, storytelling, and creativity. Alongside her publishing work, Jonna teaches workshops around the world on knitting, design, photography, and wellbeing, combining technical expertise with lived experience and warmth.
Location: Paris 13th arrondissement.
