We are delighted to welcome the incredibly talented mosaic embroidery artist Tomomi Mimura for a brand new class created especially for La Bien Aimée. In this workshop, you’ll learn her signature mosaic embroidery technique while stitching an adorable cat motif onto a practical mesh pouch—perfect for storing knitting notions and small accessories.

During the class, you’ll work directly on a mesh pouch using a carefully curated palette of yarn colors and a water-soluble printed design. Tomomi will guide you step by step through the embroidery process, making this class accessible and enjoyable whether you’re new to embroidery or already familiar with the technique.

What’s included in the class:

  • Polyester thread for eye details (white and black)

Please bring:

  • A pair of scissors
  • Writing utensils
The class will be taught in Japanese, with an interpreter providing English and French translation.
There is no homework required—just come ready to stitch and enjoy.

Nous sommes ravis d’accueillir l’incroyable artiste de broderie mosaïque Tomomi Mimura pour un tout nouvel atelier créé spécialement pour La Bien Aimée. Lors de ce cours, vous apprendrez sa technique signature de broderie mosaïque en brodant un adorable motif de chat sur une pochette en résille, idéale pour ranger vos accessoires et outils de tricot.

Pendant l’atelier, vous travaillerez directement sur la pochette à l’aide d’une palette de couleurs soigneusement sélectionnée et d’un motif imprimé sur support hydrosoluble. Tomomi vous guidera pas à pas tout au long du processus, rendant ce cours accessible et agréable, que vous soyez débutant·e ou déjà familier·e avec la broderie.
